Warmly welcome to Honkahovi!
We offer high-quality hostel accommodation in the Art Town.
When completed in 1938, the views over Mänttänlahti Bay, the high standard of construction and furnishings were something unique in Finland.
Now completely renovated, the interior, lighting and technology follow the original idea of sustainable development: only the best quality is made to last.

The people in the stories of the rooms at ArtHostel Honkahovi are of a high standard. After all, the building was in frequent use as a representative residence, with heads of state, business leaders and the sharpest international political figures as its visitors.
High-quality hostel accommodation and a friendly atmosphere are within your reach. As US Ambassador McFall said: “I can honestly say that we Americans are jealous of this.”

“Favorite hotel. Beautiful funk house. Lovely scenery and nice to cycle to the manor museum and restaurant. The rooms have preserved the 1930s atmosphere. We visit a couple of times a year. The kids like it too. Tennis and padel courts next door are a nice plus. It’s worth taking a room on the 2nd floor facing the lake.”
JALO
“This hostel has a truly unique atmosphere! It’s worth choosing one of the rooms upstairs, where you’ll feel like a factory manager. The luxuriously sized rooms, old-world atmosphere, and peaceful and beautiful surroundings have made me return several times.”
